The Irish Bomfords

A newspaper notice advertising the marriage of Gerald Bomford and Mary Florence Eteson is attached to the back of a copy of  the 1881 photo of Gerald Bomford.  It shows that Gerald and Florence were married by Gerald's brother Trevor.  The word that looks like 'Cancel' may well be 'Lancet'.  November 19th 1881 would be an appropriate date for publication, but I can't interpret the first part of the date.  (Richard Bomford, Canberra, 25 February 2005)
