Dublin pedigree: shown as the third child “Richard Achmuty of E.I.C.S.”
Bapt 1774, died age 41 in 1816, of HEIC, married 1808 Sophia Baker who married 2ndly in 1824 Sir Richard Blunt
Baptisms in Calcutta: “1774, Oct 15, Richd., son of Major Arthur Ahmuty in ye. Hon. Co’s servicee and Usula (sic) his wife”
Richard and Mary (unknown) had a natural daughter

Will of Richard A’hmuty, 3 Feb 1816, proved 30 April 1816: In the name of God Amen. This third day of February and in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixteen I Richard Ahmuty now residing at Brighthelmstown in the County of Sussex Esq. do hereby make this my last Will and Testament revoking all others made heretofor I nominate and appoint my beloved Wife Sophia Ahmuty my sole Heir and Executrix giving and bequeathing to her all my Property Real and personal wheresoever the same may be situate under the conditions provisions and restrictions as hereafter mentioned that is to say in the first place I leave to my natural child Fanny born in India the sum of four thousand pounds sterling to be paid to her when she attains the age of twenty one years or on her marriage and in the event of her death unmarried the said four thousand pounds to be divided equally among the children of my marriage Richard Mary and Ursula I leave and bequeath also to Mary the mother of the said Fanny now residing in India the sum of two thousand Rupees per month during her life being the usual allowance I have made to her Also same to be paid to her as heretofore from the funds in the hands of my agent at Calcutta and at her death the principal that corresponds to the interest for the said annuity to be divided equally between my aforesaid daughters Mary and Ursula”
“I leave this as a codicil to my will by which I revoke that part in which the principal for the annuity to my late housekeeper Mary the mother of Fanny that I bequeathed on her death . . . “
