Died: 12 Jan 1864 at 14 Chesham Place, Belgravia, London GRO Death Certificate

Dooraynes Esq.  Son of Major Arthur Ahmuty (Baptised at Fort Wm. 2nd Oct 1775.  Admittted to the Service 21st June 1791  Furlo’ on S C 27th July 1797.  Sailed              Returned to India 23rd Sept 1799.  Statement of Service Con’d  9th Sept 1802 No. 17 Removed from the Charge of the Magasine at Cawnpore from incapacity.  Mil’y Letters from (Bengal 28th July 1807 (f 8 and 9) Court think the proofs of his incapacity warrant his removal.  Mil’y Letter to (Bengal 31st May 1809 (28) His Memoreal praying to be reimbursed Sicca (Rupees 6,858.11.11 when he was relieved from the Charge of the Magazine at Cawnpore not admitted but exonerated  from the Charge of Rupees 4,083.6.9 made on account of 13 sets of Gallopes Harness.  Letter from Bengal 17th Oct 1809 (289 7 292)  Approved by Court, Mil’y Letter 12th March 1813 (250)  P.A.Furlo’ 18th Feb’y 1808   Statement of Service Cons:9th Dec’r 1824 No. 58  Sailed                       (Returned from Furlo’ G.O. 26th Nov 1811 ?? Command at chattagong from 1817 to 1814  Mil’y Statemt)  Govt are informed that hi is one of those selected to proceed to Cawnpore Cons. 21st Oct 1817 No 48  Ordered to join Head Quarters of 2nd Batt’n G.O. 6th Sept 1821.  Leave for 9 months to ????? preparatory to applying for Furlo’ G.O. 19th Novr 1824  Furlo’ on P.A.
