East India Register: “Bengal Birth 11 Feb 1821 male  the lady of John Ahmuty Esq. of a son.”

Dublin pedigree: shown as the second child “Warren”

57th (or West Middlesex) Regt of Foot Serving in East Indies; Ensign Warren Ahmuty; Ensign 16 Feb 1838;  2 years Full Pay, 0 years half pay.

Prof JJ Auchmuty: Warren resigned or sold his commission in the Army in India in 1853. Went to Canada
