Transcript:
A memorial of an indenture bearing date the thirteenth day of February one thousand seven hundred and forty eight made between
James North of Drumnamahane in the county of Tipperary gent of the first part
Huldah Nason widow and sole surviving executrix of William Nason late of the city of Corke merchant deceased of the second part
and Henry Nason of Castle Lyons in the county of Corke gent of the third part
reciting that Robert Farthing esqrby lease did demise unto said William Nason all that part of the plowland of Disert in the parish of Gortroe Barrony of Barrymore and county of Corke from the hedge next below the road as same had been then lately measured and surveyed by James Nagle gent containing three hundred seventy seven acres three roods and fifteen perch English statute measure by the same more or less with all appursto hold to the said William Nason his execrsadmrsand assigns from the first day of May then next for the term of nine hundred and ninety nine years at the yearly rent of seventy nine pounds ster
and reciting that said Robert Farthing by another lease did demise unto John Nason of the city of Corke esqr and Wm Nason all that the upper part of the plowland of Disert from the hedge next below the road on said lands being four g..eeves and containing two hundred and forty one acres be the same more or less and which part was left out of the survey then lately made by said James Nagle and Knockancoragh containing sixteen acres be the same more or less situate in the parish barony & county aforesaid with all appurtensto hold unto said John Nason and William Nason their exers admrs and assigns from the first day of May next ensuing last mentioned lease for the term of nine hundred and ninety nine years at the yearly rent of thirty four pounds ster
and reciting that by indenture made between said John Nason of the one part & sd William Nason of the other part they the said partys did agree to a division and partition of the premises so demised to the as aforesaid to wit that said lands and premises be divided by the same bounds as they were then divided excepting out of that partition two small meadows below the hedge next below the road and which were already demised by another lease than said last recited lease to said William Nason / such other lease being the first therin recited lease / and that said John Nason his exrsadmrsand assigns should have all the easterly part of said lands and premises as fully as they were enjoyed by Michael King except as therein before excepted, and that said William Nason his exrs admrs and assigns to pay fifteen pounds yearly being the proportion of the before mentioned rent of the whole premises agreed and consented to by said John Nason and William Nason to be paid jout of said easterly part of the premises & said Wm Nason his exrs admrs and assigns to pay nineteen pounds yearly being the proportion of said rent of the whole premises agreed to by said John Nason & William Nason to be paid out of sdwesterly part of said premises
and reciting that said Wm Nason by indenture dated the eighteenth day of March one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine made between him the said Wm Nason of the one part and said James North party to said indenture by the name of James North of the city of Corke gent of the other part
reciting as herein before recited did in consideration of three hundred pounds grant bargain assign sell transferr and make over unto said James North all that and those the sd therein and herein before mentioned lands and premises in and by the said therein first recited lease demised and also all that and those the before mentioned westerly part of said lands and premises demised by said lease made to said John Nason and William Nason and which became the share of said Wm Nason upon said partition as aforesaid with their appurtenances
subject to a provisoe of redemption upon payment of three hundred pounds and interest as therein is mentioned by the said first mentioned indenture
said James North in consideration of three hundred and twelve pounds three shillings and two pence to him paid by Henry Nason did by the assent and apparobation of said Huldah Nason testified as therein is mentioned grant bargain sell assign transferr and make over unto said Henry Nason all that and those the said before mentioned lands and premises in and by the said therein first recited lease demised and also all that and those the said therein before mentioned westerly part of the lands and premises demised by the said lease made to said John Nason and William Nason and which became the share of said Wm Nason upon the partition aforesaid with the appurtanences
subject always to the equity of redemption arising in virtue of said indenture of mortgage
which said first mentioned indenture as to the execution thereof by said James North of Shraduff in Ye county of Tipperary gent Thomas Antisell of the same place gent and Michael Lynch of Castle Lyons aforesaid sweare
and as to the execution thereof by said Huldah Nason and Henry Nason is witnessed by Alfred Bell of Castle Lyons in the county of Corke gent John Fogarty of Castle Lyons aforesaid farmer and by said Michael Lynch
and this memorial is witnessed by said Michael Linch and John Boland of the city of Corke gent

The above named Michael Linch maketh oath that he saw the indenture of which the above is a meml duly signed sealed and executed by the above named James North Huldah Nason and Henry Nason and sayth he this deponent also saw said Henry Nason duly sign seal and execute the above memland that he this depont is a subscribing witness to the said indenture and this memorial and that the name Michael Linch so subscribed as witness to said indenture and this meml is this deponts proper handwriting
