Deed 1776 311 114 207482 in the Registry of Deeds

Transcription:

A memorial of a deed dated the fifth day of Febry one thousand seven hundred & seventy four

whereby Elie North of Ballyown [sic – for Ballyowen] gent in the Kings county did agree with Phillip Sherlock for the lands of Ballyown [sic – for Ballyowen] in the Kings county whereon the sd Elie North then lived

that sd Phillip Sherlock was to take it into his possn on the twenty fifth of March then next paying one pound seven shillings pr acre yearly & every year during the term of years which sd Elie North had from John Ledbeater deced

and it was further agreed upon that sd Phillip Sherlock was to give liberty to sd North to live in the house in Balliowin [sic- for Ballyowen] if occasion required that is to say to have liberty of two rooms the one over the parlour and a store room gratis for one year

which sd articles of agreement are witnessed by Daniel Homan of Drimcooly [sic – for Drumcooly] in the Kings county

and this meml is witnessed by the sd Danl Homan and by  John Delany of Killane in the Kings county aforesaid
