Transcription:

A memorial of a deed poll or instrument in writing dated the first day of March one thousand seven hundred and eighty five

whereby William North of Philipstown in the Kings county merchant

for the naturel love and affection I bear to James North my son and in consideration of the sum of five shillings & five pence the receipt whereof is acknowledged and for other considerations

do bargain sell convey and make over unto the said James North his heirs exors admors and assigns all my right title and interest that I now have or ever had in Philipstown aforesaid and to the lease thereof  to me granted during the lives of the said William North the lessee James North & Thorough [sic] North for ever from and under the right honble Richd Napsaw Lord Viscount Molesworth

to hold to said James North from the day of the date of these presents to the full end and determination of said lease

and also to my daughter Isabella North twenty four pounds ster of my land of Ball [blank] for five years and after the expiration of said five years seven pounds two shillings and two pence ster during the lives of John North Pinmaker Jno Mason and Richard Mason or the longest lived of them from and under the right Honble Lord Tullamore

& do impower Barakiagh [sic] North to be guardian over my son Francis North & Isabella North my daughter

given under my hand & seal the day and year above written.
