Deed 1817 715 440 489375 in the Registry of Deeds, Dublin

Transcription:

A meml of an indented deed of marriage settlement bearing date the 18th day of December 1811 and made between

William North of New Row in the city of Dublin of the first part

Margaret Ridley of Tullamore in the Kings county spinster and Elinor Ridley of Tullamore afsd spinster niece of the said Margaret Ridley of the 2nd part and

George Goff of Greek St in the said city of Dublin gent of the 3rd part

whereby after recitg as therein is rectd [that] the Right Honble Chas William Viscount Charleville of Charleville forest and Lord * * of the Kingdom of Ireland did set & to farm let unto the said Margt Ridley party thereto her heirs & assigns all that and those the __ __ ___ ___ * Lord Baron Tullamore of * 2  houses back yards and gardens in Pound St measuring in front 71 feet and is 210 feet deep on the east side contains 33 perches and 108 feet plantn measure be the same more or less as the same is described in a map thereunto described [annexed?] sit lying and being in the Barony of Ballycommon and Kings county afsd with the appts to hold unto the said Margaret Ridley her heirs and asss from the 29th Sept then last for the lives therein mentd and subject to the rent and covenants for renl therein also contd mentd

and reciting that a marriage was intended to be shortly had and solemnized between the said William North and Eleanor Ridley

which said deed of which this is a meml witnessed that for the consns afsd and of 10/w to the said Margaret Ridley in hand paid on the perfection thereof & she the said Margaret Ridley had granted bargained sold released and confirmed assd transferred and made over unto the said Geo Goff in his actual posson by virtue of a lease for a year as therein and to his heirs and asss all that and those one of the afsd 2 houses in Pound street that is to say the house in which the said Margaret Ridley then lived and resided together with the back yard and garden thereunto belonging and all other buildings and impts made thereto and their and every of their appts in as full and ample a measure as the said Margaret Ridley then held and occupied the same which said thereby conveyed and assd premes were sit lying and being in Pound St Tullamore in the Bary of Ballycommon & Kings Coy to hold to the said Geo Goff his heirs and asss for the lives therein mentd

in which said deed are four other usual covenants

and said deed and this meml are lastly witnessed by Francis Ridley gent and Marg Ridley spinster both of Tullamore in the Kings coy afsd
