Roger North of Kilbride, Westmeath, eldest son and heir of William North late of Kilbride, and Joseph North of Northbrook, Co Galway, 1st part;
and Hon Ann Rochfort of Dublin, widow, and administator of the wills of Hon Robert Rochfort, late of Bowden Park, Westmeath, other part
Reciting that by indenture bearing date 2 May 1777 William North granted released unto Robert Rochfort in his actual possession - ? being by virtue of a bargain and sale rented all that and those lands and premises therein --- to hold to Robt Rochfort his heirs etc for the lives of Wm North, £97 18 2 payable half yearly, perpetual renewal
that the ? [said William] North and John Gerrard, two of the Cester qui vies named in said recited indenture are dead
and that ? Wm North before his death duly made and published his last will and testament in writing duly bearing date 16 June 1782 and thereby demised all his estate and interest in said lands of Kilbride to said Roger and Joseph North and that all the estate and interest of Wm North in said lands and premises were legally vested in said Roger and Joseph
and all the estate of said Robert Rochfort and said lands and premises became vested in said Anne Rochfort under the last will of Robt Rochfort --- sub to said Robt ? in said indenture contained
the said deed thereon witnessed that in order to supply and fill up the share? thereon contained and in consideration of payment of the renewal fines therein mentioned
the said Roger and Joseph North added and inserted to the terms of said lease the lives of said Joseph North and of his Royal Majesty the Prince of Wales, the lives nominated by Anne Rochfort in the place and head of said William North and John Gerrard died ----
thus Roger North did grant release and confirm unto said Anne Rochfort her heirs etc all that part of the towns and lands of Kilbride, Westmeath, commonly known by the name of Rathnowland lying northwest of Kilbridg, 57 acres 2 roods 15 perches plantation measure, to hold to said Anne Rochfort her heirs etc for natural lives of Roger North the surviving life named and said lease and of said Joseph North and Prince of Wales ---- and for life and lives all such persons should be added from time to time subject to rent
