Transcription:
A memorial of an indentured deed of marriage articles bearing date the tenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and nineteen between
Antisell North of Coole in the King's county gentleman of the first part
Grace North of Phillipstown in said county spinster of the second part
Thomas North of Coole aforesaid gent and Roger North of Kilduff in said county esque of the third part
and Margt and Anne North of Phillipstown spinsters who appear to have executed said deed as consenting parties thereto of the fourth part
whereby after reciting as therein recited & reciting a certain deed of parturition therein mentioned bearing equal date therewith made between said Margt North Ann North & Grace North whereby the said Grace North became entitled to one third part of the lands of Croghan called Barrysbrook formerly in the possn of her late father exclusive of one third part of the commons and bog thereunto belonging for and during the rest residence & remr of the term thereof yet to come and unexpired
& also reciting that by a certain deed of conveyance bearing equal date therewith & made between Thorogood North of Coole aforesaid & by the father of said Antisell North of the first part the said Antisell North of the second part & Thos North of Coole aforesaid gentn of the third part
and reciting therein a lease bearing date the twenty fifth day of Sept one thousand eight hundred and two and made between the Mt Honbl the Earl of Charlevile of the one part and the said Thorogood North of the other part whereby he did sett unto said Thorogood North the lands of Tougher containing one hundred and three acres or thereabouts for an during the lives of the said Antisell North said Thos North and Chs Wm Turpin at the yearly rent of one pound fourteen shillings and three halfpence by the acre and one shilling in the pound receivers fees
by which said deed of conveyance the said Thorogood North did
for and in consideration of said intended marriage and the natural love and affection which he had for his said son Antisel North and in order to make a provision for the issue of said marriage
did grant & sell release & confirm unto said Thos North as trustee of said lands of Tougher for the uses therein mentd
and the sd Antisel North
for the considerations aforesd and of five shillings paid when by sd Thos North & Roger North
covenants that the said Thos & Roger North and their heirs shall hold said lands in trust & for the purposes in sd deed mentd
in the first place to permit him the sd Antisel to hold said lands during his life & for and during all the rest residue and remr of the times granted in and by said recited deed of conveyance for the purpose therein set forth for the issue of said intended marriage and in case of no issue to revert back to sd Thoms North and his heirs after the death of said Antisell
and the said Grace North did threby in consideration of sd intended marriage and of the sum of five shillings paid to her by sd Thos North and Roger North did assign release and confirm to them the sd Thos & Roger that part of sd lands of Barrysbrook which she was entitled unto under said deed of partition with the commonage and apps thereunto belonging in trust (viz)
of [?if] said Grace North shall happen to survive him the said Antisel then the said lands of Barrysbrook mentd as her thereto part or share to be vested in sd trustees to and for the use benefit and advantage of said Grace during her life & to her issue as therein mentd & if there shall not be issue living at the time of death of said Grace then said lands of Barrybrook with the commonage and bog to revert back to her sisters said Margt and Anne North & the survivors of them as therein mentd
and a further covenant that in case any disagreement shall arise and that said Antisell and Grace shall live separate and shall not live together as man and wife then in trust to permit & suffer said Antisell to receive the rents issues and profits of said part of said lands of Togher during his life pursuant to the trusts of sd deed executed by sd Thorogood North and in trust to pay over the rents issues and profits of said part of said lands of Barrysbrook to the said Grace during her life and during such seperation upon her own receipt which it is thereby covenanted & agreed upon to be sufficient discharge notwithstanding her coverture in the event aforesaid
which said deed or articles is witnessed by Mary Goff of the town of Philipstown widow and Robert Gibeney late of Phillipstown servant deceased both in the kings county gentn one of the attorneys at law

The above named Mary Goff maketh oath and saith that she is a subscribing witness to the article or deed of which the above is a memorial and to the above memorial and saith she saw the said deed and the above memorial duly sigined and executed by the executing parties thereto and saith the name Mary Goff signed and subscribed as a witness to the deed of which the above is a memorial and to the above memorial is this depts proper name and hand writing M Goff sworn before me this 24th day of November 1823 at Phillipstown in the Kings county a commissioner for taking affidavits in his Majesties Court of Common Pleas in Ireland in the county and I know the depont
