Dublin pedigree:   “Martha 2nd dau wife of Jas Dodd of Ardagh, living 1756 vide will of Richard Auchmuty.

 

Will of Arthur of Ballykenny 1697:  “to Martha Aghmuty Daughter to My Son Capt.John Aghmuty”

 

Will of Captain John of Newtownflood 1726:  “I devise to my second daughter Martha Dodd the Sum of Five shillings”

 

Bessie Auchmuty quoted in TGA p 54:   “Cap’n John had a daughter Martha married a Dodd.  Martha and Helen married brothers and they were their first cousins their mothers being sister daughters of the Rev’s James Stirling Rector of Longford.”
